Heheh, Okay I have loved horses since I can remember. Mom started me riding when I was 5. She was California State Champion Barrel Racer on her QH/Arab gelding, Kentucky. He was totally cool, he passed away a few years ago. Showed in my first show on the back of a Miniature Horse Stallion. Won a trophy to!! No wonder I love them little guys!! Now I have his son!! I started seriously collecting models in '94, but was collecting before that (ask anyone who knew me as a youngster, I shunned dolls (as a toddler!!) and hated dresses (when I got old enough to have a say!!), prefered jeans and a tee cleaning dirty stalls, to a frilly dress/fancy clothes and parties. I now have a generous collection, added to as I either: a) Find some more I just CAN'T live without (how many can we live without?) :), b) Get extra spending money (for those I "could've" lived without, RIGHT!!!!) or c) Gifts from my loving family members who now, don't encourage my obession, but FUEL it!! I also own a bay Quarter/Morgan Mare who just this year gave me a bay tobiano colt!! Kelley Belley and Bogie are beautiful (Everyone keeps telling me so!!) I also own a Toy Poodle. Her name is Treasure and we have expanded our list of tricks!!! I started trying to make my own tack in early 2002 (when I got up the guts to!!!!) and Actually do a decent job of it! I started fully repainting my horses in 2000. But I was adding markings prior to that whenever I would get doubles that where exactly alike!! (Even the shading was the same!!) That's why some of the horses at TMHR have a finish listed as CMA which means "custom markings added". Nothing else was changed on them, I just wanted to be able to tell them apart!! :D |
