When Naming your Friesian, please take these rules into consideration:
- Each calendar year foal names must begin with specific letters designated by the FPS.
- Names must be relatively simple, ideally consisting of a single word.
- Abbreviations of farm names or initials are not allowed to precede a name, but may follow the name if approved by the FPS.
- Names need not be Dutch.
- Once processed by the FPS, names cannot be changed by the owner.
