Rules for the International Morab Registry 'registered' Morab horse:

    • No horse will be registered by a name which has exactly the same spelling as a name already registered, which has numerical prefixes or suffixes, or which has the suffix "Sr." or "Jr.". No horse will be registered by any name containing diacritical markings, or composed of more than four (4) parts or more than forty (40) letters, including spaces and dashes. Names may be changed after registration (see below).
    • Geldings may have their names changed with the approval of the breeder. Stallions and mares that have sired or produced a foal may not have their names changed. If they have not sired or produced a foal the name may be changed with the approval of the breeder.
    • Horses must be a a minimum of 25%/75% Morgan/Arabian blood. Either way.

Rules for the Morab Horse Association and Register 'registered' Morab horse:

Morabs Should be no more the 75%/25% to either Morgan or Arabian. Right now until I increase my Morgan mare herd and get some Morab mares, I prefer that my Morab stallions be bred to my Arabian mares (unless of course you are using an outside mare, then there is no problem!!)
